Things To Do for Day Break
January 10th 2007 07:24
From the comments thread comes this information. Credit goes to DayBreaker for putting all this together.
I have been searching the web trying to get info about the show. Shame on ABC for canceling it in the middle (just when it got more interesting) and without any notice. What's really annoying is they don't have the courtesy to let people know what's going on. Pulled the webpage from their site like it never existed. The last episode had just under 4 million viewers. Lots of people are wondering what happened.
I believe it was a good show but mismanaged. Here is an update in case you guys were wondering:
Matt from TV Guide.com is trying to get answers about the remaining online videos. His last post was 1/4/07.
Why it's not online (Dec 21):
TV Guide
His quest to get answers (Jan 2):
TV Guide
His last post (Jan 4):
TV Guide
Another person from Chicago Tribune trying to get answers here. (Dec 22)
In case you want to write to a live person involved with the show (be courteous!):
1. ABC Media
2. Touchstone TV. Click on contact us at the top.
I found it on Wikipedia and we've been trying to keep it updated here.
Short clips of the show here. Scroll down to select it.
I actually found a website that had full episodes but that's another story.
I've also seen that petition from tvseriesfinale.com and they've reached the 3,000 mark. If it's not saved then at least seen online or DVD. Hope we get it released soon!

I can see all of this has left yourself and a lot of others bitterly disappointed.
Sadly, the big bucks always seem to win out, and the bucks are getting bigger and bigger, a little more than I'm earning from blogging which is getting less by the minute and since I inadvertently switched to adsense, I am the sorry loser.
The internet is a huge place and maybe one day I'll make the big one, but I realise it won't happen over night and I'd have to branch out considerably, and it won't be with computer art although, hopefully, that may have it's place.
Meanwhile, I wish you all the best with your efforts and hope, somehow, people's disappointment will be alleviated.

Day Break TV
Thanks for your kind words. I think there are a lot of people who are just finding out that Day Break was cancelled. It doesn't seem odd when a show disappears over the holidays, since seasonal shows need a place, too. If I wasn't blogging about the show, I probably wouldn't have questioned it myself.

TV Guide scoop here.
Let's hope they make this happen. It wouldn't hurt to sign those petitions and send them in to "encourage" ABC.
This petition from TV Series Finale has over 3,800 signatures:

I was so thrilled at your news the other day that I forgot to thank you for posting it. So, thanks. A few days late.
