Day Break TV - Day Break, a new ABC television drama on Wednesday nights

What If He Can Change the Day

December 1st 2006 21:11
Hopper stumbled on something quite significant in this episode--he found he can change the day. In previous iterations, he was stuck with certain things happening and he tried to find ways to take care of all the different things at once. In "What If He Can Change the Day", he realized that his actions of the previous day can have an effect. The trick now is to figure out which ones, what sort of action, can carry over to the next iteration.

This is a big discovery. Trying to save the coffee shop woman's life while keeping Rita from getting shot while keeping Jen and her kids safe while staying out of the way of the police and the bad guys and the Latin Disciples was getting to be too much. It all seems to hinge on his relationships with the people who should have been closest to him. It's not 100% clear, but it looks like Hopper has been using his work as an excuse to avoid getting close to people. I think sorting through his and others' emotions will be the key to solving this crime and ending this day for him.

Lots of big revelations in this episode. Recap coming soon.

Yes, this show is getting quite exciting. I usually like comedies, not dramas, so this one must be especially good to hold my interest like it has.

Probably it will be the season finale where he will finally get everything right and wake up to a new day.

Season 2 will start with Hopper finding him repeating a whole new day with its own set of obstacles.

I've wondered what they would do with a second season. It's such a good show now. That would be interesting to see him get stuck in another day.

I don't think I have ever heard of this show. Sounds interesting though LOL!

It's on Wednesday nights at 9 Eastern, if you're in North America. It took the place of Lost, my favorite show, so I thought I'd watch it. It turned out to be quite good.

Day Break is set up so that viewers can jump in to any episode and catch up. I know that's hard to do with Lost.
